Catahoula " Graveside Services for Mrs. Hanson Smith the former Cecile Robicheaux, 85, will be held at 1:00PM on Thursday, April 21, 2011 at St Michael Cemetery with Fr. Richard Fabre officiating. A native and lifelong resident of Catahoula Mrs. Smith died at 3:26PM on Sunday, April 17, 2011 at a Lafayette Hospital. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend who will be greatly missed. She is survived by two sons, Jimmy Smith of New Iberia and Mickey Smith of Catahoula; a daughter, Dale Buky of Mandeville; seven grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, and three great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Hanson Smith; her parents, Carlos and Edna Melancon Robicheaux; two brothers, Clairville Robicheaux and Euclide Robicheaux; and three sisters, Luce Boudreaux, Ursula Lasseigne, and Sophie Savoy. David Funeral Home of Lafayette at 316 Youngsville Hwy (337)837-9887 will be handling the arrangements.
