Youngsville- Christian Funeral Services will be held for Chuck J. Richard, 33, on Monday, January 17, 2011 at 11:00AM in the David Funeral Home of Lafayette with Brother Danny Hebert officiating. Interment will follow services in Lafayette Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 16, 2011 from 10:00AM until 9:00PM and will resume on Monday, January 17, 2011 at 8:00 AM until time of services. A native of Arnaudville, LA and a resident of Youngsville, LA Mr. Richard passed away on Saturday, January 15, 2011 at his home. Chuck was employed by McCoy Drilling and Completions as an Electrical/Hydraulic Technician. He enjoyed fishing, riding dirt bikes and motorcycles and spending time with his family and friends. He was a loving husband, father, son and brother whom will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. He is survived by his wife, Christy Miller Richard of Youngsville, LA; children, Christian, Kloe and Kaleb; parents, Mr. and Mrs. Darrel J. Richard of Arnaudville, LA; mother-in-law, Margaret Miller of Lafayette, LA; father-in-law, Launey J. Miller and his wife Karen of Lafayette, LA and his maternal grandmother, Josephine Poret of Cottonport, LA. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Gerald Ducote and his paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Dalton Richard. Pallbearers will be Wesley Richard, Mitchel Richard, Dalton Richard, Jason Domec, Joey Smith and Launey Miller. Honorary pallbearers will be his cousins, close friends and co-workers.
