Judy Dorsey Gorman

Visitation will begin on Monday, December 16, 2013, at 2:00 PM until services, the funeral home will remain open all night. A rosary will be prayed in the funeral home on Monday at 7:00 PM.

A native of New Iberia and a resident of New Iberia, Mrs. Gorman passed away on Sunday, December 15, 2013, at 12:27 AM at her residence.

She enjoyed playing Bingo, Cards and spending time with her family and friends.

She is survived by her husband of 31 years, Lucas Gorman of Delcambre; her daughter, Dawn Arnaud and her husband Scott of Delcambre; her son, Ronnie Simon and his wife Tammy of Loreauville; her brothers, Eddie Dorsey, Sr. and his wife Mary Jane of Loreauville and Allen Dorsey, Sr. and his wife Joyce of Coteau; her grandchildren, Jacob, Jared, Jordan and Jaron Henry, Justice, and Jordan Simon; her great grandchild, Jace Henry; her godchildren, Nathaniel, Clint and Cody Dorsey and her sister-in-law, Terry Dorsey of New Iberia.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Leonard Dorsey, Sr. and Marie Moreaux Dorsey; her grandchild, Matthew Arnaud; her brothers, Leonard CoCo Dorsey, Jr. and Rickey Dorsey and her half-brothers, Jap and J. C. Dorsey.

Pallbearers will be Eddie Dorsey, Sr., Scott Arnaud, Ronnie Simon, Cody Dorsey, Clint Dorsey and Nathaniel Dorsey.

Honorary pallbearers will be Jacob Henry, Jared Henry, Jordan Simon, Jaron Henry and Allen Dorsey.
