Visitation will be on Thursday, December 26, 2013, from 2:00 PM until 9:00 PM and resume on Friday, December 27, 2013, at 8:00 AM until services. A rosary will be prayed in the funeral home on Thursday at 7:00 PM.
A native of St. Martinville and resident of New Iberia, Mrs. Dore passed away on Tuesday, December 24, 2013, at 7:21 AM at Maison du Monde Living Center in Abbeville.
She was a sales clerk at West Brothers Department Store, a Head Custodian at Iberia Special Service Center and a Seamstress. She liked sewing, gardening, flowers, dancing and going to the casino with her friends and especially spending time with her loved ones.
She is survived by her sons, Allison J. Al Delahoussaye and his wife Roni of Loreauville, Francis J. Frank Delahoussaye and his wife Marian of Erath and Chadwick J. Chad Duplantis and his wife Lorie of New Iberia; her daughter, Monette D. Hoffpauir and husband Percy of New Iberia; her sisters, Adelia L. Hulin of Cypress Island, Margaret L. Bonin of St. Martinville and Manilla L. LeBlanc of New Ibera; her grandchildren, Kimmy Bouy and her husband Tim of Coteau, Elgie Delahoussaye LeBlanc of Youngsville, Zachary Belaire of Loreauville, Tonya Darby and her husband Gene of Erath, Annette Mellano and her companion Joey LeBlanc of Mire, Nanette Bernard and her husband Clifford of Erath, Tammy Delahoussaye of Maurice, Leah Delahoussaye, Lennis Delahoussaye both of Erath, Tameca Sandoz and her husband Chris of New Iberia, Lance Hoffpauir and his wife Erica of Milton, Cassie Duplantis of New Iberia, Katie Richard Beck and her husband Jamie of Broussard, Megan Duplantis of Coteau and Kennedi Duplantis of New Iberia and 11 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband Earl Dore; her parents, Selevan Laviolette and Alicia Blanchard Laviolette; her brother, Joseph Laviolette; her first husband, Lennis Delahoussaye and her second husband, John Duplantis.
Pallbearers will be Al Delahoussaye, Frank Delahoussaye, Lennis Delahoussaye, Lance Hoffpauir, Pete Dupuis, Douglas LeBlanc, Percy Hoffpauir and Galton Hulin.
Honorary pallbearers will be Chad Duplantis and her grandchildren.
