Joyce Comeaux Lopez

Delcambre " Funeral services will be conducted for Mrs. Nary Lopez, the former Joyce Comeaux, 79, on Tuesday, December 31, 2013, at 11:00 AM in the David Funeral Home Chapel with Fr. Ed Degeyter officiating. Interment will follow in Our Lady of the Lake Cemetery in Delcambre.

Visitation will be on Monday, December 30, 2013, from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM and resume on Tuesday, December 31, 2013, at 9:00 AM until service. A rosary will be recited in the funeral home on Monday at 7:00 PM.

A native of Vermilion Parish and resident of Youngsville, Mrs. Lopez passed away on Thursday, December 26, 2013, at 6:40 AM in a Fredericksburg, VA nursing facility.

She was employed in the banking industry for 25 years and retired from City Bank & Trust in Coteau. She loved raising roses and violets. She was avid volunteer with the assisted reading program in the Youngsville Elementary School.

She is survived by her daughter, Deanna Beslin and her husband Joey; her granddaughter, Brook Chiasson and her husband Ryan and her great granddaughters, Remi and Riley Chiasson all of Stafford, VA.

She was preceded in death by her husband Nary Lopez and her parents, Henri and Agnes Badeaux Comeaux.

Pallbearers will be Joey Beslin, Larry Chiasson, Brud Romero, Pervis LeBlanc, David Spike Baudoin and Matt Cieslak.
