Abbeville- A Mass of Christian Burial for Mr. Charles J. Hebert, 78, will be held at 10:00AM on Wednesday, July 06, 2011 at St. Anne Catholic Church in Youngsville with Reverend Edward Duhon officiating. Visitation will be held at David Funeral Home of Lafayette on Tuesday, July 05, 2011 from 10:00AM until 8:00PM with a recitation of the Rosary at 6:00PM and will resume on Wednesday at 8:00AM until just prior to services. Entombment will follow church services in St. Anne Catholic Cemetery Mausoleum. A native of Youngsville and a longtime resident of the Abbeville area, Mr. Hebert passed away on Sunday, July 03, 2011 at his residence. He is survived by his children, Loretta Rainbolt of Haskell, OK, Cindy Jones of Lafayette, LA, Mennetta Girouard of Abbeville, LA, Carrol Hebert of Delcambre, LA, Juanita Cortez of Ingleside, TX and Dwayne Hebert of Lafayette; sister, Della Kennedy of Youngsville; 18 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Gladue Hebert and Estellia Maturin Hebert. Serving as pallbearers will be Carrol Hebert, Dwayne Hebert, Charles Witt, Craig Girouard, Robby Cortez, Carrol Hebert, Jr. and Colby Hebert. Honorary pallbearers will be Michael Rainbolt, David Girouard and Robert Cortez.
