Lafayette " A Mass of Christian Burial for Mrs. Eunice M. Trahan, 96, will be held at 11:00AM on Tuesday March 29, 2011 at St. Anne Catholic Church in Youngsville with Father Jason Mouton officiating. Visitation will be held at David Funeral Home of Lafayette on Monday, March 28, 2011 from 10:00AM until 9:00PM with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00PM and will resume on Tuesday from 8:00AM until service time. Interment will follow services in St. Anne Catholic Church Cemetery in Youngsville. A native of Youngsville and a resident of Carencro, Mrs. Trahan passed away at 1:50PM at Evangeline Oaks Guest House in Carencro. She was a loving Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother and Great-Great Grandmother who loved cooking and spending time with her family and will be missed by all who knew and loved her. She is survived by her son, Raoul Ray Trahan and his wife Karen of Carencro; daughters, Judy T. Ouchi and her husband Dennis of Waipahu, Hawaii; Shirley Trahan of Youngsville and Jerri Ann Trahan of Carencro; daughter "in-law, Sallie Guidry Trahan of Breaux Bridge; sister, Ruby Broussard of Lafayette; brother, Wilcide Menard, Jr. also of Lafayette; 13 Grandchildren; 26 Great-grandchildren and 16 Great Great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ellis Trahan; son, Joseph Virgie Trahan and her parents, Wilcide Menard, Sr. and Ada Campbell Menard. Pallbearers will be Raoul Ray Trahan, Kirk Comeaux, Brandon Bivins, Richard Trahan, Ryan Comeaux and Dustin Comeaux.
