Funeral Services for Mrs. Kevin Viator the former Elena Metz, 47, will be held at 6:00PM on Friday, January 24, 2014 at David Funeral Home Chapel of Abbeville with Pastor Steve Delino officating. Visitation will be at David Funeral Home of Abbeville on Friday, January 24, 2014 from 10:00AM until the time of the services. A private interment will be at 1:00PM on Saturday, January 25, 2014 at Metz Cemetery. A native of St. Francisville, LA and a resident of Kaplan Mrs. Viator died at 12:10PM at Abrom Kaplan Memorial Hospital on Wednesday, January 22, 2014. Elena was a godly lady whose love for family, friends, and people in general was heartfelt. She will be greatly missed, yet we rejoice in the fact she is in her eternal home. She is survived by her husband of 23 years, Kevin Viator of Kaplan; four sons, Joshua Viator, Josiah Viator, John Viator, and Timothy Viator; two daughters, Hosanna Joy Viator and Lydia Grace Viator; five brothers; two sisters; and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, Chris and Sara Jane Griffin Metz. David Funeral Home of Abbeville, 2600 Charity Street, (337) 893-3777 will be handling the arrangements.
