Youngsville - A Mass of Christian Burial for Mrs. Yvonne Touchet Frederick, 70, will be held at 11:00AM on Tuesday, April 19, 2011 at St. Anne Catholic Church with Fr. Jason Mouton officiating. Visitation will be held at David Funeral Home of Lafayette on Monday, April 18, 2011 from 4:00PM until 9:00PM with a recitation of the rosary at 7:00PM. Visitation will resume on Tuesday, April 19, 2011 from 8:00AM until the time of Service. Interment will follow at St. Anne Mausoleum. A native of Coteau, and a resident of Youngsville, Mrs. Frederick passed away at 11:45PM on Friday, April 15, 2011 at a local hospital. Yvonne was a loving mother, grandmother, and sister who was very involved in all aspects of her children and grand-childrens lives. She was known for her very strong love for God and Country. Mrs. Frederick worked in the telephone industry for thirty-five years, having worked as a Telephone Consultant the last 10 years prior to retiring. Ms. Frederick was a Very Special Person, always making sure others were taken care of. Her Family was her life and she loved her Grand Children like there was no tomorrow. Over the years, Mrs. Frederick was involved in Horseshows, Sports with children and grandchildren, Fishing and Camping in Henderson and Lake Fausse Point and cooking for her family. She especially loved her birthday trips to the Casino with her Sister Rhena and loved watching her LSU Tigers, New York Yankees, and New Orleans Saints. She is survived by her husband of 52 Years, Gus Frederick of Youngsville; sons, Danny Frederick and his wife Stacey S. Frederick of Milton, Scotty Frederick, Kenny Frederick of Youngsville; six grandchildren, Skyleur James Frederick, Kaitie Blue Frederick, Ethan James Frederick, Jordan Nicole Frederick, Emmie Layne Frederick, and Sydney Taylor Frederick; three brothers, Darrel Touchet of Youngsville, Jeffery Touchet of Cecilia, and Jessie Touchet of Milton; and sister, Rhena Melancon of Parks. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ralph and Zedia Maturin Touchet; and son Jimmy (Otis)Frederick. Serving as pallbearers will be Gus Frederick, Danny Frederick, Scotty Frederick, Kenny Frederick, Skyleur Frederick, and Ethan Frederick.
