Frank Bell Kidd, Sr.

Visitation will be at Highland Baptist Church on Thursday, December 5, 2013, from 1:00 PM until services.

A native of Plain Dealing, LA and a resident of New Iberia, Mr. Kidd passed away Monday, December 2, 2013, at his residence in New Iberia.

Mr. Kidd was a member of the Sons of the American Revolution and a Veteran of World War II serving in the US Army. He was a charter member of Highland Baptist Church and enjoyed playing golf. He was a graduate of Centenary College in Shreveport with degree in Geology and worked for ACC and Reed Drilling. Mr. Kidd was owner of Kidd Properties LLC.

He is survived by his wife of 61 years,Suanne Westmoreland Kidd of New Iberia; his children, Frank Bell Kidd, Jr. and his wife Patricia, Marilyn Kidd Broussard all of New Iberia, Dr. Sue Ellen Myers and her husband Allan of Opelousas;7 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Milton Bailey Kidd, Sr. and Ruth Nuckolls Kidd; his sister, Shirley Kidd Hunter and his brother, Dr. Milton B. Kidd, Jr.

Pallbearers will be Frank Kidd, Jr., Allan Myers, Joshua Myers, Shelby Myers, Joseph Kidd, Dr. Milton B. Kidd, III.
