William Michael Proctor

A gathering of the family and friends will be held at David Funeral Home in New Iberia on Tuesday, December 3, 2013, from 11:00 AM until service 2:00 PM.

A native of Austin, TX and a resident of New Iberia, Mr. Proctor passed away on Saturday, November 30, 2013, at 11:05 AM at his residence.

Mr. Proctor was a graduate of New Iberia Senior High School and was a member of the Masonic Lodge Aurora F&AM in New Iberia. He worked at National, Canal Villere, Unifab and Bayou Pipe.

He is survived by his mother, Jeanette Romero Proctor of New Iberia; his sons, Ben Proctor, MD of Lake Charles and Jacob Proctor of Fort Bragg, NC; his brothers, Paul Proctor and his wife Lauren of Belton, TX and Roy Proctor and his wife Brenda of New Iberia; his uncle, Leroy Romero of New Iberia; his ex-wife, Monica Proctor of New Iberia; the mother of his children, Trudy Derouen Gondron of New Iberia and his niece, Dusty Proctor of Orange, TX and his nephew, Shane Proctor of Orlando, FL.

He was preceded in death by his father, Joe Lynn Proctor; his paternal grandparents, William Harvey Proctor and Ollie Pearl Denson Proctor and his maternal grandparents, Simon Romero and Regina Guilbeaux Romero.
