Ruth Dugas Judice

New Iberia- A Mass of Christian Burial will be held for Mrs. Melvin Judice, the former Ruth Dugas, age 66, on Tuesday November 26, 2013 at 11:00am at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Loreauville with Father Buddy Breaux to serve as the Celebrant. Reading from sacred scripture will be Stephanie Judice and Dr. Ericka Flood. Interment will follow at All Saints Cemetery.

Visitation will be held at David Funeral Home of New Iberia, 1101 Trotter St. on Monday November 25, 2013 from 4:00pm until 9:00pm with a recitation of the rosary at 7:00pm. Visitation will resume on Tuesday November 26, 2013 from 8:00am until service time.

A native and resident of New Iberia, Mrs. Judice passed away on Saturday November 23, 2013 at 2:05pm at a Lafayette hospital. She was a member of the Cajun Line Dancers, Council on Aging Line Dancers in Loreauville, and a member of Just For You associated with Dauterive Hospital. Mrs. Judice was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend.

Mrs. Judice is survived by her husband of 48 years, Melvin Judice; sons, Stacy Judice and wife Celeste of Charenton, Corey Judice and wife Stephanie of Lake Charles; daughters, Angela Broussard and husband Michael of Loreauville, Kelli Allard of Loreauville; grandchildren, Trey Savage, Mea Allard, Cody Broussard, Joshua Judice, Seth Carter, Zachary Carter; and one sister Patricia Landry of Lafayette.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Maurice Dugas and Bernedette Langa Dugas.

Pallbearers will be Stacy Judice, Corey Judice, Trey Savage, Cody Broussard, Seth Carter, Zachary Carter, Colin Navarre, and Michael Broussard.

In lieu of flowers, Donations in Mrs. Judices honor can be made to the St. Josephs Completion Campaign, 117 S. Main St. Loreauville, La. 70552 and the St. Judes Childrens Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN. 38105.
