Jeanerette- A Mass of Christian Burial for Benjamin Joseph Breaux, age 22, will be held on Monday December 23, 2013 at 10:00am at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. Fr. Jody Simoneaux will Officiate the service. In keeping with Benjamins wishes he will be cremated after his Mass. Visitation will begin on Sunday December 22, 2013 from 11:00am until 9:30 pm with a recitation of the rosary at 6:00pm. Visitation will resume on Monday December 23, 2013 from 8:00am until service time. A native of Beaumont, Tx. and resident of Jeanerette, Benni as he was affectionately known passed away on Thursday December 19, 2013 at 1:37am. With a creative mind and strong work ethic, Benni was a skilled mechanic and enjoyed working on trucks and motorcycles. He loved to help others and would go out of his way just to do so. Ben was also known to be a Wheeler and Dealer and enjoyed bartering with others. He was a former ROTC member at Jeanerette High School and a former member of the JJHEC. Benjamin also enjoyed cooking, playing with his dogs, and taking his mother to go shopping and to the casino. Benjamin is survived by his mother and step-father, Elaine and Paul Landry of Jeanerette; father Mark Allen Breaux and companion Cathy of Indiana; sister, Nicole M. Klota and husband Christopher of Indiana; step-brother, Brandon Landry of New Iberia; step-sister, Michelle Landry of Angie, La. and fianc Edward Gonzalez; step-grandmother, Betty Landry of Jeanerette; uncle, Donnie Landry and wife Lisa of Sorrel; aunt, Kimberlee Spradley and husband Darren of Harrah, OK; step-aunt, Wanda LeBlanc and husband Mark of Stephensville, La.; step-uncle, Lawrence Landry and wife Tina of Jeanerette; cousins, Brandon and Madeline Spradley both of Harrah, OK; and his four legged companions, Kolt and Lady Annabella. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Ernest J. Landry Jr., Ila C. Landry, Robert Lee Breaux; step-grandfather, Raymond F. Landry; step-uncle, Gerard Landry; and great uncle James Nicoletti. Pallbearers will be Donnie Landry, Rodney Landry, Jarrod Clement, Joseph Rogers, Charles Bourque, Tyler LeBlanc, Marcel Landry, and Benjamins Godfather, Lionel Sing Broussard. Honorary pallbearers will be Brandon and Madeline Spradley; Benjamins Godmother Kimberlee Spradley, Rudy Landry, and Annie Hinnes.
