New Iberia " A private memorial service will be held by the family for Michael Lewis Mike Chaffin, age 61, on Monday December 30, 2013. A native and resident of New Iberia, Mr. Chaffin passed away Friday December 20, 2013 at 5:55 AM in a New Iberia health care facility. Survivors include his children, Eli Chaffin and Aaron Chaffin both of Edmond, Oklahoma: his sister, Karin Newman of New Iberia. He was preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth and Laura Hughes Chaffin. David Funeral Home of New Iberia, 1101 Trotter Street (337)369-6336 is in charge of arrangements.
