New Iberia " Funeral services will be conducted for Rev. Claudie Wayne Hagan, 69, on Saturday, December 14, 2013, at 10:00 AM in the New Life Christian Center with Rev. Chester Hills and Bishop Kevin Cox officiating. Interment will follow in Greenwood Memorial Cemetery, in Pineville, LA, 2202 Military HWY.
Visitation will be at New Life Christian Center, 207 Bayard Street Friday, December 13, 2013, from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM and will resume Saturday, December 14, 2013, from 8:00 AM until service.
A native of Alexandria, LA and a resident of New Iberia, Rev. Hagan passed away Thursday, December 5, 2013, at 8:27 PM at his residence in New Iberia. Rev. Hagan was a Minister of United Pentecostal Church International. He retired after 25 years of service from New Life Christian Center. Rev Hagan was an ordained Minister for 50 years.
Rev. Hagan is survived by his wife of 49 years Gwen DeHart Hagan of New Iberia; sons, Garold Wayne Hagan of New Iberia, Gerald Dwayne Hagan and his wife DeAnna of Maurice; his grandchildren, Brittany Hagan, Ashley Hagan, Gerald Hagan II, Michael Hagan, Brandi Hagan, Jason Hagan, Kelsi Hagan; great grandchildren, Mackenzie LeBlanc, Remie Guidry, Grayson Guidry, Lawrence Hagan and sister, Charlotte Hagan Goodman and her husband Jack of Alexandria.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Claude E. Hagan and Leola Hagan Ward.
Pallbearers will be Jason Hagan, Gerald Hagen II, Michael Hagan, Brandon DeHart, Jordan DeHart, Joshua DeHart, Eythan Goodman. Honorary Pallbearers will be William Broussard, George Nora, Dean Derouen, Cliff Klipstin, Karl Charpentier, Emmette Broussard.
