Elizabeth Joyce Foreman Verret

Visitation will be on Monday, February 10, 2014, from 4:00 PM until 10:00 PM and resume on Tuesday, February 11, 2014, from 8:00 AM until services. A rosary will be prayed in the funeral home on Monday at 6:00 PM.

A native of Vermilion Parish and a resident of Jeanerette, Mrs. Verret died on Saturday, February 8, 2014, at 8:20 PM at her residence. She was a devoted mother and a great cook. She was a Eucharistic Minister and a member of the St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church Rosary Group.

She is survived by her sons, Pat Verret and his wife Brenda of St. Martinville, Richard Verret of Jeanerette, Larry Verret of Loreauville, Robert J. Verret and his wife Carrie and Kenny Verret and his wife Amanda all of New Iberia; her sisters, Winnie Trahan of Abbeville and Elvie Duhon of Kaplan; 11 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband Huey P. Verret; her parents, Willie and Edith Marceaux Forman; her brother, Minos Foreman and her sisters, Euna Trahan, Eunice Trahan and Dorothy Baranco.

Pallbearers will be Pat, Larry, Bobby, Kenny, Richie and Chad Verret.

Honorary pallbearers will be Michael, Robie, Kenson, Kevin, Ryan, Shawn, Shane and Jessica Verret, Tandi Parks, Chantele Muffoletto.
