Lafayette - Memorial services for Mr. John Michael Williams, 30, will be held at 12:00 noon on Tuesday, February 11, 2014 at David Funeral Home Chapel of Lafayette. Visitation will be Tuesday, February 11, 2014 at David Funeral Home of Lafayette from 10:00AM until the time of service. Born in Satanta, Kansas on June 28, 1983. John was the loving son of Jan Newman Talley of Broussard, Louisiana. John went to rest with the Lord on Saturday, February 1, 2014. John was the Chief Engineer on crew boats. John is survived by his loving mother Jan Newman Talley of Broussard, sister Michelle Hutchison of Amarillo, Texas, and nieces Jana Williams and Heather Nelson, both of Pampa, Texas, three nephews Tommy Williams and wife Lucinda of Broussard, Daren Nelson of Pampa, Texas,and Garrett Arenas of Amarillo, Texas, as well as two great nephews and six great nieces who will miss him dearly.
