Joyce Landry Verret

Jeanerette " Funeral services for Mrs. Carl A. Verret, Sr. the former Joyce Landry, age 76, will be conducted on Thursday July 7, 2011 at 10:00 AM at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church with Fr. Jody Simoneaux officiating. Interment will follow at St. Johns Mausoleum. Visitation will begin on Wednesday July 6, 2011 at 4:00 PM until 10:00 PM with a rosary to be prayed at 6:30 PM. Visitation will resume Wednesday July 7, 2011 at 8:00 AM until service.

Mrs. Verret passed away Monday July 4, 2011 at 4:45 PM at Masion Teche Nursing Home in Jeanerette, Louisiana.

She is survived by her children: Tina Landry and her husband Amos, Penny Guillot and her husband Billy, Carla Sinitiere and her husband Shawn all of Jeanerette, Carl Verret, Jr. and his wife Val of New Iberia, Britt Verret, Sr. and his wife Shirley of Jeanerette. One Brother: Gerald Landry , Sr. and his wife Gladys of Jeanerette. Nine Grandchildren: Callie Trahan, Bill Guillot,III, Jenna Verret, Linden Badeaux, Scarlett Wilson, Kayla Guillot, B.J. Verret, Eric Verret, Paige Verret. Three Great Grandchildren: Carter Thibodeaux, Cole Trahan, Gavin Wilson.

She was preceded in death by her husband: Carl A. Verret, Sr, Parents: Prevail and Marie Charpentier Landry, Brother: Hilliard Landry, Two Sisters: Dorothy Myers, Judy Robicheaux.

Serving as pallbearers will be Bill Guillot, B.J. Verret, Eric Verret, Todd Trahan, Chris Napier, Alex LeBlanc.

Honorary pallbearere are Shawn Sinitiere, Britt Verret, Sr., Carl Verret, Jr., Amos Landry, Billy Guillot, Tyler Wilson.
