Jeanerette " Funeral Services will be conducted for Mrs. Ronald J. Landry the former Jacqueline Potty Picard, Age 50, at 10:00AM Thursday July 14, 2011 at David Funeral Home Chapel with Father Ed Degeyter officiating. Interment will follow at Beau Pre Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday July 13, 2011 from 4:00PM until 10:00PM with a Rosary being prayed at 6:30PM. Visitation will resume Thursday from 8:00AM until service time. Born in Lafayette and a longtime resident of New Iberia, Jacqueline died Saturday July 9, 2011 at 1:51PM at her residence in New Iberia. Potty worked as a cashier/manager for Lydia Food Store for 12 years. She enjoyed cooking, bingo and going to the casino. Her biggest joy in life was caring for her family. Survivors include her husband, Ronald J. Landry of New Iberia; two daughters, Sheryl L. Bertrand and husband Ian of Jeanerette and Amy Landry of New Iberia; three sisters, Jackie Stevens and husband James of New Iberia, Annette Derise and husband Terry and Carolyn Broussard all of Jeanerette; three brothers, Raymond Picard Jr. and wife Elizabeth and Kent Picard Sr. and wife Mary all of Jeanerette and Allen Lacamus and wife Monique of Delcambre. She was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond Picard Sr. and Ella Mae LeBlanc Picard and a brother, Earl Lacamus. Pallbearers will be Jace Stevens Jr., Billy, David, Robert and Joshua Stevens and Jeremy Picard. Honorary pallbearers will be Jake, Blake and James Stevens, Evan, Jacob and Kent Picard Sr., Kent Picard Sr. and Raymond Picard Jr., Chad and Shane Landry and Ian Bertrand.
