Abbeville " A Mass of Christian Burial for Mrs. Isadore Gueringer the former Rose Mitchell, 79, will be held at 11:00AM on Thursday, July 14, 2011 at St. Theresa Catholic Church with Fr. Kenneth Mayne officiating. Visitation will be at David Funeral Home of Abbeville on Thursday, July 14, 2011 from 9:00AM until the time of the service. Interment will follow at St. Paul Cemetery. A native of Youngsville and a resident of Abbeville, Mrs. Gueringer died Saturday, July 9, 2011 at Abbeville General Medical Center. She worked as a LPN for over 35 years before she retired. She was also a member of The Council on Aging. She is survived by a brother, Joseph Mitchell of Killeen, TX; a niece, Jo Ann Jones of St. Louis, MO; and a host of Nieces, Nephews, and family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Isadore Gueringer; parents, Ovey and Agnes Monette Mitchell; and two brothers, London Mitchell and Abraham Mitchell. Serving as pallbearers will be members of her family and friends. David Funeral Home of Abbeville at 2600 Charity St. (337)893-3777 will be handling the arrangements.
