Lafayette - A Gathering of Family will be held for Janette Stone Thibodeaux, 73, at David Funeral Home of Lafayette, 316 Youngsville Hwy., from 10:00AM until 12:00PM on Tuesday, August 23, 2011. Interment will be at a later date. She is survived by her three sons, Dewayne Thibodeaux and his wife, Traci of Lafayette, Dale Thibodeaux and his wife, Yvette of Youngsville, John Batiste Thibodeaux and his wife Sharon of Kaplan; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; three brothers; five sisters and one special cousin. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leeroy Thibodeaux; one son, Randy Lynn Thibodeaux; her parents, William Christopher Stone and Sarah Pauline Lamunyon Stone; one grandchild; one brother and three nieces. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the entire staff of Hospice of Acadiana for their care and compassion shown to Janette and her family during this difficult time.
