Loreauville " Funeral Services will be conducted for Joseph Patrick Joe D Dressel, Age 18, at 11:00AM Saturday August 13, 2011 at St. Josephs Catholic Church with Father Buddy Breaux officiating. Interment will follow at St. Josephs Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday August 12, 2011 from 4:00PM until 10:00PM with a Rosary being prayed at 6:30PM. Visitation will resume Saturday from 8:00AM until service time. A lifelong resident of Loreauville Joseph died Thursday August 11, 2011 at 2:45AM in St. Martin parish. Joe D was an avid sportsman who especially enjoyed playing basketball. He was a senior at Loreauville High School and excelled as a member of the Loreauville Tigers basketball team. He was a fun loving individual who was always smiling and was loved by everyone. He was a person of great faith who loved Jesus Christ. Survivors include his parents, Michael and Penny Decuir Dressel of Loreauville, brothers, Joshua Dressel and wife Rochelle of Youngsville, Jeremy Dressel and wife Amber, Jared Dressel and wife Calli, Michael Dressel and Jacob Dressel and fianc Kaitlin Borman all of Loreauville, nephews, Cullen Stansbury, Drake and Blake Dressel and a niece, Jaci Dressel. Joseph was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Sylvester and Eula Peltier Dressel and maternal grandparents, Lester and Grace Breaux Decuir. Pallbearers will be Joshua, Jeremy, Jared, Michael and Jacob Dressel and Dustin Laviolette. Honorary pallbearers will be Cy Theriot and Jordan Tripeaux.
