Loving Mother and Grandmother Loreauville " Funeral services will be conducted for Mrs. Robert Nassans, the former Audry Dugas, 71, at 10:00AM on Monday, August 22, 2011 at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Interment will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery. Visitation will be on Sunday, August 21, 2011 from 10:00 AM until 8:00 PM and resume on Monday at 8:00 AM until services. A rosary will be prayed in the funeral home on Sunday at 6:00 PM. A native of Loreauville and a resident of St. Martinville, Mrs. Nassans passed away on Wednesday, August 17, 2011 at 9:30 PM at her residence. She loved reading, computer games, keeping in touch with friends on facebook and especially enjoyed being with her family. She was a longtime member of the Louisiana Federation of Womens Club. She is survived by her daughters, Lisa Ann Dugas of New Iberia, Laurie Claire Simar and her husband Alan of St. Martinville and Lanette Leah Thibodeaux of Youngsville; her grandchildren, Alex, Lonnie and Maxx Dugas all of New Iberia, Beau Dugas of Cankton, Bryan, Jamie and Kaylie Simar all of St. Martinville, Amber Thibodeaux of Youngsville, Kaleb Thibodeaux of Youngsville and Megan Thibodeaux of Loreauville; her great grandchildren, Skylar Lamar Simar and Cole James Gerard both of Youngsville, Karleigh Klaire Simar of St. Martinville and Rylan Lamar Thibodeaux of Erath; her sister, Genie Dugas of Loreauville; her ½ sister, Stephanie Dugas of New Iberia and her ½ brother, Kenneth J. Dugas of New Iberia. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert L. Bobby Nassans; her parents, Stephen and Iris Vaughn Dugas; her son, Robert L. Nassans, Jr. and her brother, Robert C. Dugas. Pallbearers will be Bryan Simar, Alex Dugas, Maxx Dugas, Kaleb Thibodeaux, Dana Dugas and Drew Dugas. Honorary pallbearers will be Allen Simar, Beau Dugas, Lonnie Dugas, Glenn Judice, Chad Gerard, Rodney Judice, Cole Gerard and Stephen Dugas.
