Joseph David "Bruce" Broussard

New Iberia " Funeral Services will be conducted for Joseph David Bruce Broussard, Age 63, at 11:00AM Monday August 8, 2011 at David Funeral Home Chapel with Father Ed Degeyter officiating. Interment will follow at Holy Family Mausoleum. Visitation will be Sunday August 7, 2011 from 4:00PM until 9:00PM with a Rosary being prayed at 6:00PM. Visitation will resume Monday from 8:00AM until service time. A native and lifelong resident of New Iberia, Mr. Broussard died Friday August 5, 2011 at 4:00PM in a local health care facility. He was a carpenter by trade. He enjoyed fishing and hunting. The family would especially like to thank Heart of Hospice and the staff at New Iberia Manor North for their loving care. Survivors include two sisters, Maude Ann Sanders and husband Harold and Mabel Romero and husband Huey Sr. all of New Iberia and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Moleon A. and Molly Boudreaux Broussard; two brothers, Antoine Tan Louviere and Sideole Louviere Jr. and a sister Beatrice Fitch.
