Delcambre " Memorial Services for Mrs. Virnez Bertand the former Mabel Colomb, 82, will be held at 2:00PM on Wednesday, February 20, 2013 at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church with Rev. Herb Bennerfield officiating. Interment will follow at St. Paul Cemetery. A native of Henry and resident of Delcambre Mrs. Bertrand died at 1:53PM on Saturday, February 16, 2013 at Abbeville General Hospital. She was a devoted wife and mother. She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Virnez Bertrand of Delcambre; two sons, Wayne Bertrand of Natchez, MS and Keith Bertrand of Duson; a sister, Ellen Talley of Gray; six grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. David Funeral Home of Abbeville at 2600 Charity St. (337)893-3777 will be handling the arrangement.
