Abbeville- Funeral services for Rodney Nunu Turner, 51, will be held at 3:00PM on Monday, August 29, 2011 at David Funeral Home of Abbeville with Brother Gerald Chauvin with The Kingdom Hall of Jehovahs Witnesses of Abbeville officiating. Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM and continue until just prior to service time at the funeral home. Interment will follow services at Graceland Cemetery. Rodney is survived by his sisters, Betty Ruth Turner of Abbeville, Eva Mae Henandez and her husband Osweldo of Moore, OK, Shirley Ann Batchelor and her husband Russell of Winamac, IN, Dorothy Ann Turner of Delcambre, Jeanelle Picard and her husband, Ricky of Abbeville, Carla Ann Beaudeaux and her husband Roy of Abbeville and Carol Sue Uden and her husband, Barry of Bethany, OK; brothers, Robley Joseph Turner, Jr. and is his wife, Rita of Ocean Springs, MS, Ricky Hank Fields and his wife, Christine of Abbeville and David Shane Turner and his wife, Josephine of Delcambre as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robley Joseph Turner, Sr. and Eva Mae Fields Turner; sister, Betty Jean Babineaux and three half-brothers, Raymond Turner, Arthur Turner and Melvin Turner. Serving as pallbearers will be Roy Beaudeaux, Joey Hannigan, C.J. Turner, Aaron Robinson, Alfred Wicks, Curney Turner and James Holmes. Honorary pallbearers will be his brothers, David Turner, Robley Turner, Jr. and Ricky Fields.
