Youngsville- Memorial Services for Katherine Lynn Ortego, 50, will be held at 10:00AM on January 19, 2013 at David Funeral Home of Lafayette with Deacon Cody Miller officiating. Interment will be at a later date. Kathy passed away on Tuesday January 15, 2013 at University Medical Center here in Lafayette, LA. She is survived by her daughter, Kacey Ortego Hebert and her husband Alex of Lafayette, LA; companion, Patrick Graves of Youngsville, LA ; sister Linda Shelton and one nephew, Tyler Barton. She was preceded in death by her parents, James Lee Shelton and Louise Hendron Shelton and one sister, Bonnie Shelton. In lieu of flowers the family is requesting that donations be made in Kathys memory to the Miles Perret Cancer Services, 2130 Kaliste Saloom Road, Ste. 200, Lafayette, LA 70508.
