David Romero, Jr.

New Iberia " Graveside services were held for David Romero, Jr., 72, on Thursday, July 18, 2013 at 11:30 AM at Holy Family Mausoleum with Deacon Wade Broussard officiating. A native of Kaplan and a resident of New Iberia, Mr. Romero passed away on Wednesday, July 17, 20113 at 8:35 AM in a New Iberia hospital. He was an avid fisherman and hunter. He is survived by his son, David K. Romero and his wife Monique of New Iberia; his brother, Kenneth Kenu Romero and his wife Bernice of Loreauville; his grandson, David K. Romero, II of New Iberia and his sister-in-law, Billie Champagne of New Iberia. He was preceded in death by his wife, Sue Elaine LaBauve Romero and his parents, David Romero, Sr. and Elgin Hebert Romero. Serving as pallbearers were Kenny Romero, Brent Romero, Troy Romero, David K. Romero, David K. Romero, II and Martin Conrad. David Funeral Home of New Iberia, 1101 Trotter St. (337) 369-6336 is in charge of arrangements.
