Donna Faye Mestayer Lanza

Visitation will be on Monday, November 4, 2013, from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM and resume on Tuesday, November 5, 2013, at 10:00 AM until services. A rosary will be prayed in the funeral home on Monday at 7:00 PM.
A native of Loreauville and a resident of New Iberia, Mrs. Lanza passed away on Thursday, October 31, 2013, at 8:32 AM in a Lafayette hospital. A Loving Wife, Mother, Grandmother , she enjoyed working in the yard with the flowers, enjoyed reading and enjoyed listening to the birds. During her early life, credit goes to her for raising her two children and guided them to their present status in life.
She is survived by her husband, Charles V. Lanza of New Iberia; her children, Steven C. Lanza and his wife Staci and Lisa L. Menard and her husband Robert all of Lafayette; her grandchildren, Madison Lanza, Abigail Menard, Deborah Menard, Bennet Lanza and Grayson Lanza all of Lafayette and her sisters, Norma Sis Mestayer Bazer of New Iberia and Merle Mestayer Williams of Rogers, AR.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Raoul Mestayer, Sr. and Norma Neuville Mestayer; her brothers, Donald Mestayer, Forbus Mestayer, Carroll Mestayer and Raoul Ray Mestayer, Jr.; and her sisters, Sharon Mestayer Lucus, Audrey Mestayer Labry, Muriel Mestayer, Karen Mestayer and Lucille Mestayer.Pallbearers will be Billy Lanza, Craig Lanza, James Anderson and Justin Menard.
The family would like to express their thanks to Dr. David Weir, Dr. Jason Cormier, Dr. Martha Coppage, Dr. Robert Hankenhoff, III, the nurses of the seventh floor of Lafayette General Hospital and the ICU Unit personnel at Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center.
