New Iberia - Funeral services will be conducted for Joan Thersa Gonsoulin Falgout, 84, on Friday, March 7, 2014, at 2:00 PM in the David Funeral Home Chapel with Deacon Theo Landry officiating. Burial will follow at All Saints Mausoleum in Loreauville. Visitation will be on Friday, March 7, 2014, from 9:00 AM until service and a rosary will be prayed in the funeral home at 10:30 AM. A native of Belle Place and a resident of New Iberia, Mrs. Falgout died on Monday, March 3, 2014, at 7:10 PM in a New Iberia hospital. She was a Secretary for 34 years at the Iberia Parish District Attorney's Office. She is survived by her daughter, Eugenie Migues Segura and her husband Teddy of New Iberia; her son, Creig J. Migues and his wife Christine of Belle Place; her sister, Dr. Stephanie Gonsoulin of Flordia; her brother, Dr. Carl Gonsoulin of Lafayette; her granddaughters, Callie Migues Pohl and her husband John of Austin, TX and Shaun Segura Mestayer and her husband Zachary of Baton Rouge; her grandsons, Chase Migues and his wife Leslie of Belle Place and Seth Segura of Orlando, FL; her great granddaughters, Ali'x Migues and Caitlin Migues both of Belle Place and her great grandsons, Palmer Mestayer of Baton Rouge and Austin Pohl of Austin, TX. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Rennis Falgout; her parents, Edwin A. Gonsoulin, Sr. and Eugenie Gondron Gonsoulin; her brother, Edwin A. Gonsoulin, Jr. and her first husband, Chincy Migues. Pallbearers will be Dr. Carl Gonsoulin, Chase Migues, Seth Segura, Creig Migues, Teddy Segura, Zachary Mestayer and John Pohl.
