New Iberia - Funeral services will be conducted for Toby J. Buteaux, 48, on Tuesday, March 11, 2014, at 1:00 PM in the David Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Drew Rousse, Bishop and Dr. Wanda Rousse, Senior Pastor officiating. Burial will follow in Beau Pre Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be on Monday, March 10, 2014, from 10:00 AM until 9:00 PM and resume on Tuesday, March 11, 2014, at 8:00 AM until services. A rosary will be prayed in the funeral home on Monday at 7:00 PM. A native of Jeanerette and a resident of Loreauville, Mr. Buteaux died on Thursday, March 6, 2014, at 10:06 AM in a New Iberia hospital. He enjoyed his family, hunting, fishing and going to his camp. He is survived by his parents, Leonard J. Buteaux, Sr. and Lula Mae Martin Buteaux of New Iberia; his daughters, Amy Broussard of St. Martinville and Amanda Buteaux of Loreauville; his grandchild, Preston Broussard of St. Martinville; his brother, Max Buteaux and his wife Amy of New Iberia; his sisters, Jeamie Romero and her husband Brian of Lydia, Monique Lewin and her husband Ron of Franklin, Tina Romero and her husband Frank, Tanya Buteaux and Mindy Buteaux all of New Iberia and his sister-in-law, Lisa Buteaux. He was preceded in death by his brother, Leonard J. Buteaux, Jr.; his paternal grandparents, Wilfred and Irma Buteaux and his maternal grandparents, Howard and Elda Martin. Serving as pallbearers will be Frank Romero, Ronald Lewin, Glenn Buteaux, Blaine Dees, Max Buteaux, and John Bacque.
