Jeanerette -- A Graveside Service for Mr. Louis Seval LeBlanc, age 81, will be conducted on Saturday, March 22, 2014 at 10:00 AM at the Loisel Cemetery in Jeanerette, LA with Fr. Jody Simoneaux officiating. Louis was born in Franklin, LA and a lifelong resident of Jeanerette, La. Louis passed away at a local nursing facility on Friday, March 14, 2014 at 7:20AM. Louis loved Old Timey Country & Western Music; he loved to play bingo and fish. Louis was best known for his hard work ethics and will be missed by his family and friends. In recent years Louis found a new hobby of playing video games to keep his mind sharp. He is survived by his nephews Herbert Jay Dinger Worth and wife Susan of Berwick, LA, and Timothy LeBlanc and wife Laney of Greenup, KY; Nieces Rosienna Wade and significant other Glenn of Dover, DE., Edith Ann Ferrick and Husband John of PA., and Mary Fretz and Husband Kevin of Dover, DE; and cousin Margaret Shivers and husband Bob; and numerous great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his spouse Linda Bourque LeBlanc, his father Louis Seval LeBlanc Sr. and his mother May Boudreaux LeBlanc, sister Betty Ann Pratt and daughter Lisa Ann LeBlanc. Serving as pallbearers will be friends and family.
