New Iberia - Funeral services will be conducted for Emma Derise Leleux, 83, on Thursday, July 3, 2014, at 11:00 AM at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church with Father Mark Derise officiating. Burial will follow in St. John Cemetery in Jeanerette. Visitation will be on Wednesday, July 2, 2014, from 4:00 PM until 9:00 PM and resume on Thursday, July 3, 2014, at 8:00 AM until service. A rosary will be prayed in the funeral home on Wednesday at 7:00 PM. A native of Jeanerette and a resident of New Iberia Mrs. Leleux died on Sunday, June 29, 2014, at 1:15 PM in a New Iberia nursing facility. She was a member of W. I. B. C. Bowling Association. She is survived by her daughters, Marlene Leleux Dartez and her husband Marshall, May Lynn Leleux Hebert all of New Iberia and Molly Leleux Engle of Houston, TX; her sons, Mark "HILO" Leleux and his wife Donna of Lake Charles and Mitchel Leleux of Houston, TX; her brothers, Paulfrey Derise and his wife Janell of Jeanerette and Alexis "Bob" Derise and his wife Fay of Corpus Christi, TX; her sister, Barbara Derise LeBlanc of New Iberia; her grandchildren, Chris Eskind, Jr., Katlyn Eskind, Jodi Lynn Hebert McInnis and her husband Dustin, Jill Leleux, Jordy Hebert, Hunter Dartez and Ariel Leleux; her great grandchildren, Milee McInnis and Talan McInnis; her son's-in-law, Chris Eskind, Sr. of Houston, TX and Jody Scott Hebert of New Iberia and her daughter's-in-law, Leifa Provost Leleux of New Iberia and Debbie Leleux of Porter, TX. She was preceded in death by her parents, Paul Avnel and May Broussard Derise. Pallbearers will be Mark Leleux, Mitchel Leleux, Jordy Hebert, Chris Eskind, Jr., Hunter Dartez, Dustin McInnis, Dana Naquin and Damon LeBlanc.
