LoreauvilleA Mass of Christian Burial will be conduct for Mrs. Stanley Moulis the former Evelyn Patin Moulis, age 97, on Friday, October 10, 2014 at 10:30 AM at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Father Buddy Breaux officiating. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Mausoleum. Visitation will be at David Funeral Home of Loreauville, 118 Main Street in Loreauville on Thursday, October 9, 2014, from 4:00 PM until 9:00 PM with a recitation of the rosary at 7:00pm. Visitation will resume Friday, October 10, 2014 from 8:00am until service time. Born in Cecilia and a lifelong resident of Loreauville, Evelyn worked for the Iberia Parish Government for over twenty years operating the Iberia Parish Book Mobile; the Main Street Library location in the morning and the City Park Library location in the evening. Evelyn loved quilting, sewing, reading and tending to her flowers in her yard and was a very good cook and most of all she was a very devout Catholic and attended St. Joseph Catholic Church all her life. She is survived by her sons, Carl Moulis of Loreauville and Phillip Moulis of Loreauville; daughters, Ann Pete and husband Raymond of Loreauville, and Judith Aaron of Loreauville; grandchildren, Elizabeth Guidry and husband Norris of Lafayette, Carla Darcey and husband Chad of New Iberia, Jennifer Flores and husband Damian of Broussard and Jessica Aaron of Dallas, TX; five great grandchildren and her lifelong friend Debbie Landry of New Iberia. She is preceded in death by her husband of 40 years Stanley Moulis, her parents Althemor Joseph Patin and Alzire Grange Patin; her brothers Edgar Patin, Whitney Patin, Robert Patin, Dedier Patin, and Jack Patin; sisters Eunice Guidry, Ethel Mestayer and Elise Broussard. Pallbearers will be friends and family. The family would like to thank Heart of Hospice for their care and compassion. In lieu of flowers memorial donations in Mrs. Moulis' honor can be made to the St. Joseph Completion Campaign.
