Myrdis Primeaux Adams

Youngsville- A Mass of Christian Burial for Myrdis Primeaux Adams, age 85, will be held at 11:00AM on Wednesday January 14, 2015 at St. Anne Catholic Church in Youngsville, LA with Deacon Cody Miller officiating at the services. Visitation will be held at David Funeral Home of Youngsville on Tuesday, January 13, 2015 from 4:00PM until 10:00PM with a recitation of the Rosary at 7:00PM at the funeral home and will resume Wednesday January 14, 2015 at 8:30AM until service time. Interment will follow in Lafayette Memorial Park Cemetery. Mrs. Myrdis Adams was native of Kaplan, LA and a resident of Broussard, La., and she was a parishioner of St. Anne Catholic Church. She was a woman of great excellence and remodel for her family. Mrs. Adams cared for her family and never served the same meal twice. She enjoyed cooking for her family having the occasional millers on the side while she cooked. Her famous tarts at Christmas time were known throughout the family. Mrs. Adams had her coffee in the morning and the rest of her day was usually filled with family in and out of her house because her house was the center of family activity. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend to all who knew her, and will be loved, remembered and greatly missed. She is survived by her one daughter; Charlotte Clark (Lee) of Youngsville, two sons; Ricky Adams of Youngsville, and James Adams (Brenda) of Sunset, one sister; Gurtie Primeaux Touchet of Forked Island, four grandchildren; Amy Tuley of Houston, Jerrod Adams of Lafayette, Dawn Adams of Memphis, TN, and Ted Clark of Youngsville, and two great-grandchildren; Hailey Tuley and Ryann Tuley. She was preceded in death by husband; Percy Adams, her parents; Martin Primeaux and the former Emela Simon, and her sister; Mursie Primeaux Hargrave. The Family would like to extend a special thanks to Amy Bordeaux for all of the time care she extend to the family, also to St. Joseph Hospice of Lafayette, and the 3rd floor staff at Lafayette General for all of their care.
