Phyllis Bodin Hargrave

June 16, 1956 — February 25, 2015

New Iberia- Phyllis Bodin Hargrave, Great Mother, Grandmother, and Sister. A native and lifelong resident of New Iberia, Mrs. Hargrave passed away on Wednesday February 25, 2015 at 5:27pm at her residence with her family by her side. She was 58 years old. Mrs. Hargrave was a homemaker. She enjoyed taking care of her daughter and grandchildren, and was always willing to lend a hand to anyone in need. Mrs. Hargrave enjoyed reading, cross-stitching, and loved to travel. She also had a passion for flowers and floral design. Left to cherish her memory is her father, Elias J. Bodin of New Iberia; daughter, Ashley Sisson and husband James of Victoria, TX; brothers, Byron Bodin of New Iberia, Wayne Bodin of New Iberia, Neal Bodin of New Iberia, Robbie Bodin of St. Martinville, Joey Bodin of Grand Marais, Don Bodin of Springdale, AR; sister, Cris Bodin of Sulphur; and her two grandchildren, Patrick and Penelope Sisson of Victoria, TX. She was preceded in death by her mother, Glory LeBlanc Bodin. In keeping with her wishes, no services will be held.
