Jeanerette - Funeral services will be conducted for Wilson "Flip" Bourque, Sr., 69, at 10:00 AM on Monday, August 10, 2015, in the David Funeral Home Chapel with Father Jody Simoneaux officiating. Burial will follow in St. John Cemetery. Visitation will be on Sunday, August 9, 2015, from 10:00 AM until 10:00 PM and resume on Monday, August 10, 2015, at 8:00 AM until 10:00 AM. A rosary will be prayed in the funeral home on Sunday at 6:00 PM. A native of Iberia Parish and a resident of Jeanerette, Mr. Bourque passed away on Wednesday, August 5, 2015, at 2:30 AM at his residence. He was a retired shop hand at Mark Martin Agriculture. He loved to walk and ride his bike. He enjoyed life and especially loved his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Julienne Broussard Bourque of Jeanerette; his daughters, Teresa Bourque and Wanda Bourque; his son Wilson Bourque, Jr. all of Jeanerette; his brother, Charles Bourque of Portage: his sisters, Rita Degeyter of Coteau and Jessie Landry of New Iberia; his grandchildren, Mindy LeBlanc and her fiance' Jarrot Jones of Jeanerette, Gregg LeBlanc, Jr. and his fiancee' Kenzie Glispy of Mt. Pleasant, Utah and Dylan LeBlanc and his girlfriend Sarah Lebouef of Jeanerette and his great grandchild, Alissa Jones of Jeanerette. He was preceded in death by his father, John Batiste Bourque and his mother, Rose Gaspard Bourque; his brother, Wilton Bourque; his sister, Wilda Bourque and his great grandchild, Paisley Jones. Pallbearers will be Matthew Babin, Edmond Racca, Jarrot Jones, Ashley Owens, John Landry and Mitchell Charpentier. Honorary pallbearers will be Gregg LeBlanc, Jr., Dylan LeBlanc, Wilson Bourque, Jr., Randy Landry, John Segura, Elton Delcambre, Christopher Charpentier, Dwayne Landry, Steve Owens, Sr. and Mark Martin.
