Thiel Quebedeaux

Visitation will be on Thursday, December 3, 2015, from 4:00 PM until 10:00 PM and resume on Friday, December 4, 2015, at 8:00 AM until the time of the service. A rosary will be prayed in the funeral home on Thursday at 7:00 PM.
A native of Sunset and a resident of New Iberia, Mr. Quebedeaux passed away on Monday, November 30, 2015, at 7:40 AM at his residence.
He loved fishing, hunting, cooking, gardening and his family and always had a smile.
He is survived by daughters, Veronica LeBlanc and her husband Joe of Lafayette, Cindy Quebedeaux, Jennifer Viator and her husband Kenneth, Sondra Pisani and her husband James all of New Iberia and Danielle Quebedeaux Etler of San Antonio, TX; his brother, Allen Quebedeaux and his wife Carolyn of Sunset; fifteen grandchildren; twenty-seven great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 59 years, Jessie Quebedeaux Quebedeaux;his parents, Francois and Luce Kidder Quebedeaux; his brother, Joel Quebedeaux; his sisters, Laura Mae Courville, Ann Veillon and Rita Richard.
The family would like to thank his caregivers, Susan Mire, Chatagnier LeBlanc, Nicole Pisani, Janet Hollier, Sandra Pisani, James Pisani, Blake Viator, Cindy Quebedeaux, Aunt Ruth and Aunt Judy, Uncle Mike Quebedeaux, Uncle Dan Quebedeaux, Wanda Dorsey and Joanna Jungjohann.
The family request memorials to Acadian Hospice.
Pallbearers will be his godchild, Gregory Veillon and his grandchildren.
Honorary pallbearers will be Allen Quebedeaux and his grandchildren.
