Visitation will be on Saturday, February, 13, 2016, from 8:30 AM until 11:50 AM and a rosary will be recited in the funeral home at 10:00 AM
A native of Jeanerette and a resident of St. Martinville, Mrs. Alexander passed away on Monday, February 8, 2016, at 8:40 PM at her residence.
She loved taking care of her grandchildren, cooking and going to the casino.
She is survived by her children, Mathiew Ludger Alexander, Jr. and his wife Pamela, Jose M. Alexander all of St. Martinville, Dominique Morrison and her fiancé Trevor Picard of Broussard, Pedro M. Alexander, II and his wife Brandi of St. Martinville, Lucas J. Alexander and his wife Martine of New Iberia and Corey J. Ledet and his wife Natassia of Youngsville; her brothers, John Ledet, Sr., Michael Ledet, Sr. and James Ledet, Sr. all of Jeanerette; her sisters, Rosa Mae Goldwyn of Pismo Beach, CA and Rosa Lee Alexander of Baltimore, Maryland; eighteen grandchildren and one great grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Mathiew Ludger Alexander, Sr.; her parents, Felton Ledet, Sr. and Ruby Tovan Ledet; her brothers, Allen Ledet, Donald Ledet, Sr. and Gerald Ledet and her sister, Louise Ledet.
Pallbearers will be Mathiew Ludger Alexander, Jr., Jose M. Alexander, Pedro M. Alexander, II, Lucus J. Alexander, Corey J. Ledet and Trevor Picard.
Honorary pallbearers will be James Ledet, Sr., Michael Ledet, Sr. and Gary Talley.
