Linda Semar Prince

Loreauville--A Mass of Christian burial will be held for Linda Semar Prince, age 66, on Thursday, June 30, 2016 at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Fr. Barry Crochet officiating. Interment will follow at a later date.

Visitation will begin at David Funeral Home of Loreauville on Thursday, June 30, 2016 from 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM with a recitation of the Holy Rosary at 9:30 AM.

Linda passed away on Sunday, June 26, 2016 at 11:47 AM at Iberia Medical Center.

A resident of Loreauville, Linda was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and was a Eucharistic minister for many years. She was a part of the Jesus is Alive and The Book of Acts Bible prayer groups. She loved her family very much especially spending time with all her grand and great grand children.

Linda had a special place in her heart for those who were in need of organ transplants and became an organ donor herself.

She is survived by her husband of 49 years Lance Prince; two daughters, Michelle Prince Morgan and husband David “Keith” of Loreauville, Vickie Prince Lancon and her husband Jeremy of Loreauville; grandchildren, David Lewis Morgan, Kaycee Lynn Morgan and Jagger Joseph Lancon; great grandchildren, Hunner Jude Morgan and Kinley Claire Morgan; brother John “Barry” Semar and wife Dolores of Lydia; sister, Sandra Semar Legnon and husband Richard of Cypermont Point; brother-in-law Daniel Lewis Prince and wife Martha of New Iberia; godchildren, Alaina Colson, Todd Semar, Devin Legnon, and Brian Prince and numerous nieces and nephews and also two special little buddies Oreo and Tank.

She was preceded in death by her parents Earl J. and Mildred Dugas Semar; brother, Bobby Semar; great grandchild, Reese D. Morgan, nephew, Scott Semar, sister-in-law, Linda Comeaux Semar, Kathleen Semar, Ernestinne Reeves and Leona Prince Smith; and brother-in-law, Patrick Louis Prince.
