Lucille Reynaud

New Iberia – A Funeral Mass will be conducted for Lucille Broussard Reynaud, 93, on Friday, September 16, 2016, at 11:00 AM at St. Peters Catholic Church with Father Alexander Albert officiating. Burial will follow in Holy Family Mausoleum.

Visitation will be on Thursday, September 15, 2016, from 5:00 PM until 8:30 PM and resume on Friday, September 16, 2016, at 8:00 AM until 10:40 AM. The Men’s Rosary Group will pray the rosary in the funeral home on Thursday at 7:00 PM.

She was born in  New Orleans and a resident of New Iberia, Mrs. Reynaud passed away on Monday, September 12, 2016, at 9:25 PM at Landmark Nursing Home in Cade.

Lucille was a very loving and nurturing woman. She enjoyed interacting with people and loved everyone she met. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother and was so very proud of her children and grand children.

She is survived by her children, Bruce Reynaud of New Iberia, Sandra Reynaud Egelston and her husband Mike, Sr. of Jennings and Trudi Reynaud Perret and her husband Emile, II of New Iberia; her grandchildren, Christine Reynaud, John Reynaud, Lee Reynaud and his wife M’lissa, Michael Egelston, Jr. and his wife Courtney, Alecia Reynaud, Jennifer Reynaud, Emile Perret, III, Lane Perret Wascon and her husband Blake and Kaci Perret; twelve great grandchildren and seven great great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Francis “Sonny” Reynaud, Sr.; her father, Telesphore Broussard; her mother, Agnes Lopez Broussard; her son, Francis “Sonny” Reynaud, Jr. and her grandchild, Shannon Egelston.

Pallbearers will be Bruce Reynaud, Emile Perret, II, Emile Perret, III, Blake Wascon, Michael Egelston, Jr., Jeremy LeBlanc, Lee Reynaud and Gary Renaud.

The family would like to give special thanks to her extended family at Azalea Estates, her caregivers, Voneishia Douet, Lisa Arnaud and Laurie Broussard, Landmark Nursing Home and Bridgeway Hospice and a very special thanks to her niece, Nanette Lejeune and a family friend, Peggy Edgar.
