Monique Poteet Deshotel

Breaux Bridge – A Memorial Service for Mrs. Monique Poteet Deshotels, 45, will be held at a later date.

A native of St. Martinsville and a resident of Breaux Bridge, Monique died at 7:00PM on Wednesday, October 26, 2016 at a Lafayette Hospital.

She is survived by her husband of 14 years, Shane Darin Deshotels of Breaux Bridge; her mother, Dale Smith Buky of Mandeville; her father, Glenn Poteet of Lafayette; a son, Aaron M. Poteet of Lafayette; a daughter, Leigh Ann Poteet of Lafayette; a grandson, Aiden Arceneaux of Lafayette; two granddaughters, Angelina Marie Himel and Kyleigh Rene Himel both of Lafayette; three sisters, Danielle Baham of North Pole, AK, Claudette Poteet of Lafayette, and Jamie Dale Paul of Clovis, NM; and her mother In law, Connie Villar Deshotel.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Michael Poteet.
