Lafayette - Private memorial services for Laureal Don Laviolette, 50, will be held at a later date.

Beloved son, brother, uncle, and friend. Don passed away Saturday April 29,2017 at his home.

Don or “Big D” as he was known by so many was born and raised in Lafayette, LA. He is survived by his father Weldon J. Laviolette; two brothers Terry Jones of Dequincy, and Dean Laviolette his wife Betty, and their son Caleb, of Moss Bluff; his sister Angie Hicks and her husband Bill and their children Morgan Blanchard and her husband Blake, and Matthew Hicks all of Madisonville.

Don will be sadly missed by all who knew him. He had a smile that would light up a room and a laugh that made any day better. He was most happy being in his boat fishing. You left us much too soon, until we meet again rest in beautiful peace.
