Octave was born to Carol and Rosalie Landry. He enjoyed etching glass, painting and reading a lot. He also loved lighthouses and sailboats.
He is survived by his children, Hayden, Clara, Brie and Bire Landry; his father, Carol J. Landry, Sr.; his brother, Carol J. Landry, Jr; his fiancee, Debra; his sister, Melissa Lincoln; his brother, Bobby Landry and his wife Jaime; his sister, Barbara Landry Loe and her husband, Chenchau; his nephew, Enos J. Landry and his wife Shonda as well as nieces, nephew and great-nieces and great-nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Rosalie D. Landry; daughter; Alysse; brother-in-law, David Lincoln, Jr.
