Dwayne James "Buck" Thibodeaux

Lafayette – Funeral Services for Mr. Dwayne “Buck” James Thibodeaux, 52, will be held at 1:00PM on Thursday, November 16, 2017 at David Funeral Chapel of Lafayette with Deacon Wynard Boutte officiating. Interment will follow at St. Anne Mausoleum.

Visitation will be held at David Funeral Home of Lafayette on Thursday, November 16, 2017 from 9:00AM until the time of the services with a recitation of the rosary at 11:00AM.

A native of Slidell and a resident of St. Martinville, Mr. Thibodeaux died at 11:00AM on Tuesday, November 14, 2017 at his residence.  Dwayne was known for his love for his grandchildren and his beloved pet “Harley”.  He also enjoyed watching sports and raising animals.

He is survived by a son, Corey W. Thibodeaux and his wife Teryn of Youngsville; his father,

Raymond R. Thibodeaux of St. Marinville; a brother, Chad Thibodeaux of Dallas, TX; two sisters, Fay LeBouef of St. Martinville and Kristie Frederick of Cecilia; and four grandchildren, Cye, Che, Cyd  and Taj Thibodeaux.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Rosalind Patin Thibodeaux; his wife, Chris V. Thibodeaux; and a brother, Dale Thibodeaux.

Serving as pallbearers will be Corey Thibodeaux, Chad Thibodeaux ,  Kerry LeBouef,  Jeremy LeBouef, Justin LeBouef , Chandler LeBouef, Chad Frederick, Austin Frederick. Honorary Pallbearers will be Byron Morvant and David Melebeck.
