A native of St. Martinville and a resident of New Iberia, Mr. Talley passed away on Thursday, November 23, 2017 at 6:00 AM at his residence.

He was retired from the U S Air Force after 20 years of service and served in the Korean Conflict and the Viet Nam Era. He then went to work for Petroleum Helicopters, Inc. and retired after 20 years of employment. He enjoyed dancing and loved Cajun Music and Cajun Culture.

He enjoyed talking and visiting with people and was an outgoing, kind and goodhearted person.

He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Virginia Boudreaux Talley of New Iberia; his son, Aaron Michael Talley and his wife Stephanie of Augusta, GA; his daughters, Cathy Hope of Fort Worth, TX and Lisa Tolson of Abingdon, VA; his brothers, Jimmy Talley of Las Vegas, NV and Perry Talley of New Iberia; his sisters, Sylvia Blanchard of New Iberia and Janette Hutchinson of Jacksonville, FL; seven grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Abel and Mathilda Girouard Talley; his brothers, Nolan Talley, Shelton Talley, Larry “Black” Talley and Abel Talley, Jr. and his sister, Audrey “Sue” Perrero.
