Sylvia Vallot Dore

Lafayette - Funeral services for Sylvia Vallot Dore, 75, will be held Friday January 5, 2018 at 1:00 PM, at St. Anne Catholic Church with the Very Rev. Msgr.  Richard Green officiating.

Visitation will be held Friday January 5, 2018 ai David Funeral Home, from 9:00 AM, until time of services. A Rosary will be recited at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow in St. Anne Catholic Cemetery.

A native and resident of Youngsville Sylvia was a devoted member of St. Anne Catholic Church, she loved gardening, her dogs and spending time with her family and friends.

Survivors include her children David Dore, Cindy Granger, Sandy Bodin, and Jason Dore; two brothers L.J. Vallot, and Louis Russell Vallot; three sisters Verna Bell Menard, Brenda V. Laviolette, and Maydell Corquet . She is also survived by her grandchildren Ravien LeBlanc, Amber, Seth and Destiney Dore, and Shannon and Samantha Granger; her great grandchildren Carson LeBlanc and Trey and Lucien Granger; and her step grandchildren Tyler and Miles Hayes, and, Amber and India Bourque.

Sylvia was preceded in death by her husband Dronald P. Dore; her son Shannon Paul Dore; her parents Lucien and Eve Guillot Vallot; and two brothers George Ray Vallot, and Joseph Rodney Vallot.

Serving as pallbearers will be David Dore, Seth Dore, Jason Dore, Kendall Granger, L.J. Vallot, and J.B. Laviolette. Honorary pallbearers will be Shannon Granger and Russell Vallot.

David Funeral Home 316 Youngsville hwy is in charge of arrangements.
