Randy James Touchet

Lafayette – A mass of Christian burial for Randy James Touchet 52, will be held Thursday February 8, 2017 at 2:00 PM at St. Anne Catholic Church in Youngsville, with Father Buddy Breaux Pastor of Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church in Delcambre officiating.

Visitation will be held Wednesday February 7, 2018 from 10:00 AM until 10:00 PM with a Rosary recited at 7:00 PM and will continue Thursday from 8:00 AM until time of services.

A native of Lafayette and a resident of Carencro Randy passed away Saturday February 3, 2018. He was employed by C & G Containers for the last 22 yrs, he love fishing spending time with family and friend, and was a loving husband, father and grandfather.

Survivors include his wife of 35 years Sharon Broussard Touchet of Carencro; his two daughters Sherri Lynn and her husband Daniel Huffman, and Shelly Aline and her husband Bryan Cormier all of Broussard; five grandchildren Mathew and Amanda Rumsey, Brianna Huffman, and Laura and Corbin Cormier. He is also survived by his siblings Larry Touchet Sr. of Broussard, Debbie Baker of Milton and Barbara Rogers of Broussard and his half brother Joseph A. Gonzales.

Randy was preceded in death b y his parents Theodore and Aline Gonzales Touchet.

Serving as pallbearers will be Larry Touchet Sr., Larry Touchet Jr., Billy Rumsey, Lane Breaux, Joseph A. Gonzales, and Douglas Borell. Honorary pallbearers will be Bryan Cormier, Daniel Huffman, Daniel Broussard Jr., and Mathew Rumsey.
