Bradley J. Demette

Lafayette – A Mass of Christian Burial for Mr. Bradley J. Demette, 73, will be held at 1:00PM on Monday, February 12, 2018 at St. Joseph Catholic Church of Milton with Fr. William Schambough officiating. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery.

Visitation will be at David Funeral Home of Lafayette on Sunday, February 11, 2018 from 10:00AM until 9:00PM with a recitation of the rosary at 7:00PM. Visitation will resume on Monday, February 12, 2018 from 9:00AM until the time of the services.

A Native of Maurice and a resident of Lafayette, Mr. Demette died at 10:50AM on Saturday, February 10, 2018 at his residence. He enjoyed woodworking, gardening, and just being outdoors.

He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Patsy Broussard Demette of Lafayette; a son, Terry Demette and his wife Theresa of Cade; two daughters, Tammy D. Broussard and her husband Edward of Lafayette and Antoinette D. Citron of Lafayette; four brothers, Harry Demette, Rayford Demette, Randy Demette, and Kermit Demette; two sisters, Sandra Guilbeaux and Glenda Girouard; seven grandchildren, Tyler Demette, Brittany Demette, Ashley Bertrand, Samantha Hebert, Colby Hebert, Cooper Citron, and Christopher Citron; and seven great grandchildren, Mariah Pellerin, Hagen Pellerin, Jordan Darby, Joshlyn Darby, Jayden Darby, Carter Hebert, and Aubree Hebert.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Dudley and Ezare Begnaud Demette.

Serving as pallbearers will be Kermit Demette, Randy Demette, Rayford Demette, Terry Demette, Tyler Demette, and Colby Hebert.

Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Cooper Citron, Christopher Citron, and Harry Demette.

David Funeral Home of Lafayette at 316 Youngsville Hwy (337)837-9887 will be handling the arrangements.
