Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Sunday, March 11, 2018 from 1:00 PM until time of service.
A native and resident of Loreauville, Howard went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, March 6, 2018 at 8:24 PM at Iberia Medical Center. He was a Roustabout in the Oil Field Industry and worked a number of years for Rex Milling Feed Mill. He enjoyed sharing funny jokes, painting, carving and any type of woodwork.
He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Lucy Louviere Trahan; sisters, Linda Theriot and husband Jim of Loreauville, Lena Estave and husband Earnest of Loreauville, Ethel Foreman and husband Jeff of Loreauville and Anita Louviere and husband David of Loreauville; brothers, Craig Trahan and wife Bridget of Loreauville and Raymond Trahan and wife Dawn of Lydia; godsons, Shane Estave and Zayne Dauphine; goddaughters, Brooksie Moore and Amber Broussard; his many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Felix Trahan and Yola Courville Trahan; brothers, Francis Trahan and Brian Trahan.
Pallbearers will be Craig Trahan, Shane Estave, Kristi Dugas, Trey Burke, Koi Dauphine and Zayne Dauphine.
